Ok, so the other day I was riding the sky train to school in the morning, and I was drifting in and out of sleep because I had had a late night before. So while I was sleeping on the train, a team of security guards had boarded at one of the stations, and they were checking riders for their fares. So when I awoke, the outstretched hand, of a pudgy faced transit cop was ushering me to hand over my fare card. I complied, drowsily, and handed the man my concession fair card. He scanned I, and then proceed to ask for a go card to validate it, I searched my wallet, and found that I didn’t have it with me. I was removed from the train. But that was not the end of it; no, no, no, no, after I was kicked off the train, I was escorted over to the boys in blue, who seized my license for its information, and then proceeded to write me a ticket. Now, seeing as this was for the most part a misunderstanding on my part, and I had no intention of violating a transit law, nor have I ever, I figured a warning would be appropriate; however a warning was far from what I got, when I received the ticket, I was given no chance to debate it, and was told that I could no longer ride the sky train. I told the officer I had no money, and he said he had the power to issue me a fare pass, so I accepted his offer, but what the didn’t tell me was that I had to pay for that to, just at a later time (which was annoying). But heres the clincher, the ticket that I got, for misunderstanding the conditions of a fare card, which I paid for: 173 dollars
Can you believe that shit, I would have said to the cop , “fuck off, are you serious… you bastard” but I didn’t really feel like getting arrested.
Anyway, Im talking those dicks to court to protest the ticket, I’m not paying that shit, no fucking way man.

I'll admit, these transit police are straight-up squareheads. There are junkies and dealers goin' in and out of the stations without payin,'and sellin' drugs left and right, funny how they can't notice that. Instead, the 5-0 choose to run around slappin' fines on random school kids innocently forgettin' their go-cards. It's bullshit man, all these fools are just RCMP wanna-be's, carryin' guns thinkin' they're tough shit. Better watch out, the kid without a go-card might pull out a piece and start shootin' back. Then again, I wouldn't blame you for pullin' out a can and sprayin' these morons in the face.
Yeh i'm not fond of these dudes either. I've had a similar run-in with a 2-zone pass. It's a long story, rather not discuss it, just wanted to say, I feel your pain man...

thats a bummer to hear, ive defiantly had the exact same shit pulled on me. He asked me and my friend if we had our go cards and where we were goin, and told us to get off and wait at the next stop(cause neither of us had it).. luckily some other poor guy didnt have appropriate ticket or whatever and while the train cop was talkin to him, we just walked right past them and away from that bullshit.
You know what can blow me? No not transit, but stupid bloggers who update once a fiscal quarter.
